WE DID IT!
Our goal was 7 pounds 10 ounces and little man went above and beyond.
Kevin had a visit with Dr. Cheryl today where we found out that he has gained 26 ounces in 20 days, which is FANTASTIC. She said that he is growing very well and that even she can tell just by looking at him that he has gotten bigger. He goes back in 2 weeks for his 2 month shots, which I'm sure will be harder on me than him.
We recently changed his diet to strictly formula since it became too painful for me to breastfeed anymore. I was worried that it would stunt his growth, but it seems to be working very well. Which is a huge relief. And to be honest, it's very freeing not having to worry if I am making enough milk.
Well that's about it on Bubby for now. We should start smiling and laughing soon so a video will be soon to come.
Love,
Alex, Justin, and Kevin

Gassy Times
The closest thing we're getting to a smile right now....
Poor Kevin is having the worst gas. Little Remedies Gas Drops are a God send. But, it doesn't help much when it takes an hour to get him down when he wakes up at night. To make it worse he will NOT fall asleep unless one of us is laying beside him.
We've decided on a ''family'' bed for the first few years of his life. I've been reading and it significantly increases bonding, especially in families where the parents aren't around much during the day. Which Justin and I will be when I go back to work in April. We both will be working 5 to 6 days a week, so having a family bed is a way for us to bond with Kevin....plus getting to snuggle with him is pretty sweet. (Don't worry, we're extremely safe. He has his own bed made up with pillow barriers all around.)
He has a weight check on Friday and we are keeping our fingers crossed for 7 lbs.

Hi everyone!! Welcome to the Adventures of Baby Boy Man! Justin and I have family and friends all over who are constantly calling and asking us how our little man is doing. And, as most of you know, we are terrible at returning phone calls, or picking up the phone at all.
So this is going to be one central area that we will keep updated with: pictures, doctors visits, all of his firsts, and anything else we feel that we should share with all of you.
Right now Kevin is around 7lbs. He has a weight check this week, due to the fact that he was in the lower percentile of weight gain at his last check up (weighing in at 6lbs 4oz). But a growth spurt has hit since then and we can't feed this boy enough apparently. He has also grown an inch which now makes him 20in long, and it's all legs.
We have been having some issues with sleeping at night, Kevin thinks 3 am is wide awake time. Which leads to him sleeping all day. Fine for him, frustrating for Mom and Dad. But, I think we make a great team. Justin has been off all month with the restaurant being closed so that has been a huge help.
I think that's all for now. Definitely will post more in the next few days.
Love you all!
